The Durirun Balik Pulau Half Marathon 2027 is held on Sunday 20 June 2027 in Balik Pulau, the durian-growing district on the western side of Penang Island. The 21 km flags off at 3am from Kompleks Sukan Balik Pulau with a four-hour cut-off, followed by the 10 km at 7am and the 5 km at 7.15am. It is organised by Parlimen Balik Pulau with Puncak Ventures SRA, and fees run from RM45 to RM110.

Sunday 20 June 2027. The 21 km flags off at 3am with a four-hour cut-off, the 10 km at 7am with two hours and the 5 km at 7.15am with one hour, all from Kompleks Sukan Balik Pulau. Race packs are collected there on Saturday 19 June, from 10am to 7pm.
How much does it cost to enter?
The 21 km costs RM78 at the super-early-bird rate, RM88 early bird and RM110 normal, plus an admin fee. The 10 km costs RM58 to RM78 and the 5 km RM45 to RM65. The half marathon has an open category for ages 18 to 39 and a veteran category for 40 and over.
Where is Balik Pulau?
Balik Pulau is a rural district on the western side of Penang Island, known for its durian orchards, which gives the race its Durirun name. The start and finish are at Kompleks Sukan Balik Pulau, the town's sports complex. Some calendars wrongly place the race in Selangor; it is in Penang.
