The Cebu Finale of a Progressive Series
Cebu Leg 3 offers 5K, 10K, 21K and the series' signature 32K distance, held at SM Seaside in Cebu City. [1] Like the Iloilo and Manila legs in this same 2026 Sante Barley Trilogy Run Asia series, the Cebu stops build progressively across the calendar year, with completion of the earlier legs' distances feeding toward a 42K qualification at the National Finals.
SM Seaside: Cebu's Biggest Waterfront Mall
SM Seaside City opened in November 2015 on Cebu's South Road Properties reclaimed waterfront, and as of 2025 is the second-largest mall in Cebu and the fifth-largest in the Philippines, with over 700 stores across roughly 470,000 square metres. [2] That scale gives Leg 3 a genuinely large-capacity venue for parking, staging, and post-race amenities, similar to how the series uses SM Mall of Asia for its Manila legs.
Registration Not Yet Announced
As of this writing, registration status for the Cebu Leg 3 specifically has not been announced. [1] Given that the Iloilo and Manila legs of the same series were already open for registration at the time of this research, it's worth checking RunRio's official channels directly for Cebu-specific updates rather than assuming a similar timeline.
No Independent Reviews Yet
No independent participant race reports or reviews for this Cebu leg turned up in research -- available material is limited to RunRio's own official site and race calendar. [1] That mirrors the review gap seen across other legs in this series researched in this batch, despite the series' overall scale and multi-year history.
Should You Run It?
If you're working through the Trilogy series toward National Finals qualification, or simply want a large-scale race at one of Cebu's biggest waterfront venues, Cebu Leg 3 on 13 September 2026 fits the series' established format well. Confirm registration status directly with RunRio given it wasn't yet announced at the time of this research.
