The CMU Chiang Mai Marathon 2026 is the 10th edition of Chiang Mai University's charity race, held with its alumni association on Sunday 8 November 2026. It offers a 42.195 km marathon, a 21.1 km half marathon, a 10.5 km mini marathon and a 5.5 km fun run, with race packs collected at Sala Ang Kaew on the campus the day before. The organiser has capped the onsite field at 7,000 runners.

When is CMU Chiang Mai Marathon 2026?
It is on Sunday 8 November 2026, the race's 10th edition; the previous one was held on 1 February 2026. Race packs are collected on Saturday 7 November from 9am to 8pm at Sala Ang Kaew, Chiang Mai University. Runners who start more than 15 minutes after their wave is released are disqualified.
What distances and entry fees does the CMU Chiang Mai Marathon offer?
Four distances: a 42.195 km marathon, a 21.1 km half marathon, a 10.5 km mini marathon and a 5.5 km fun run. In its announcement the organiser put onsite entry at THB 1,100 for the marathon and THB 950 for the half, with a VIP entry at THB 2,000, and capped the onsite field at 7,000 runners.
Who can enter each category?
Marathon and half-marathon age groups start at 20-29 for Thai runners, while foreign marathon runners race in a single category without age groups. The mini marathon's age groups start at 16-19, and runners under 18 need a guardian's permission. A virtual-run version is offered alongside the race through the same 42one95 entry platform.
