The Course: Wide, Flat Roads and Two Flyovers
The race starts and finishes at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD City, in Pagedangan, Tangerang regency [1][2]. The route runs through the green areas of BSD City on roads that both race reports describe as wide, flat and well kept, and the only real climbs are two flyovers along the way [1][3]. Spectators cheered along parts of the course and photographers worked beside it [3].
The organiser gives the half marathon as 21.195 km, about 100 m longer than the standard 21.0975 km [4][5]. Races were chip-timed, with an outside timing partner [4]. The 2025 listing did not include a route map or an aid-station plan [2], so read the 2026 route when it is released to see where the flyovers fall.
The Weather: Humid at the Start, 30°C by 9am
Soekarno-Hatta airport, about 20 km north of ICE BSD, recorded 25°C at 5am on race morning, with a dew point of 23°C, 89% humidity and a 7-knot wind [6]. It held at 25°C until 6am, reached 26°C at 7am and 28°C at 8am, then 29°C at 8.30am and 30°C at 9am, when humidity had dropped to 66% [6]. IDN Times reported a clear sky that morning [3].
A dew point of 23°C means sweat evaporates slowly, so the flat course is harder than it looks, and a clear sky lets the sun add to the heat once it is up. Start times for 2025 are not in the published listings; the 2026 listing gives 5am for the half marathon, 5.15am for the 10 km and 5.30am for the 5 km [7]. On that timing, a half marathoner close to the 3 hour 30 cut-off finishes around 8.30am, when it was 29°C in 2025 [2][6].
Cut-offs, Entry and What You Get
The 2025 cut-offs were one hour for the 5 km, two hours for the 10 km and 3 hours 30 for the half marathon [2]. The 5 km was open from age 13 and the longer races from 17 [2]. Entry came in two price tiers: Rp300,000 or Rp350,000 for the 5 km, Rp400,000 or Rp450,000 for the 10 km and Rp550,000 or Rp650,000 for the half, plus a Rp10,000 fee. Entries were sold only through the 910Nineten app, one place per account [2].
The race pack had a bib, a goodie bag, a race tee or singlet, a 910 voucher and a finisher medal, with a finisher jersey for the half marathon only [2][4]. The organiser said medals could be engraved with the runner's time [4]. Packs were collected at fX Sudirman in central Jakarta, on 6 to 8 November according to one listing [2] or 7 to 8 November according to a sponsor [8], so budget a trip into the city before race day.
How Fast the Field Is
Reports put the field at about 2,000 [1][3] or 2,500 [9]; the organiser later said more than 2,000 ran [5]. It ranged from beginners to national athletes [1][3]. The brand's earlier events were fun runs: about 100 runners at the first in 2023 and 1,200 at a 2024 anniversary run [4].
The only published times are those of the brand's own sponsored athletes. Narman finished in the top five of the half marathon in 1:22:56; Gina Fitriani won the women's 10 km in 44:29; Dhavina Putri won the women's 5 km in 22:23; and Putra Julio Ekdo Badayu was third in the 5 km in 16:48 [1][3]. A top-five half-marathon place for 1:22:56 and a women's 10 km won in under 45 minutes point to a field where a strong club runner can reach the prizes.
In 2025 cash prizes went to the top three men and women in each race, with 910 products for fourth and fifth [2]. The brand used the race to launch its Geist Ekiden Elite racing shoe [1][3], so expect a product launch around the start and finish as well as a race.
Should You Enter the 2026 Race?
Yes, if you are based around Jakarta or Tangerang and want a flat, chip-timed half marathon of a manageable size, or a first 5 km or 10 km race with one- and two-hour cut-offs [2]. Think twice if you are chasing a personal best in cool air: by 8am in 2025 it was already 28°C [6].
The 2026 race is on Sunday 11 October at ICE BSD, a month earlier in the year, with the same three distances [5]. The organiser is offering 3,000 places: 750 in the half marathon at Rp679,000, 1,000 in the 10 km at Rp479,000 and 1,250 in the 5 km at Rp379,000 [5]. Half-marathon finishers get a finisher tee, every finisher gets a recovery tee, and part of each entry fee goes to charity [5]. The top five men and women get the same prize money as in 2025 plus shoes [5]; one listing gives Rp8 million for the half-marathon winners, for Indonesian citizens [7]. The announcement does not include a route map or start times [5].
